Bush again

A report by 250 scientists this month warned that the Arctic is warming twice as fast as the global average, threatening to wipe out species like polar bears by 2100.

President Bush pulled out of the Kyoto protocol in 2001, saying it was too costly and wrongly excluded developing nations. Kyoto seeks to cut rich nations' carbon dioxide emissions by five percent below 1990 levels by 2008-12.

Kyoto is meant to be a first step against global warming. U.N. projections show that Kyoto will brake rising world temperatures by only about 0.1C (0.2F), a pinprick compared to a forecast rise of 1.4-5.8C by 2100.

"The United States is like an ostrich burying its head in the sand," said chief Gary Harrison of the Arctic Athabaskan Council, which represents thousands of people in Canada and Alaska. He urged Washington to act to stop a melt.

I think the world would be much better off if the terrorists suceeded in their cause, don't you think?

Tired of living

Blardee hell, it's 7.5 more hours to the exams and I'm still blogging. I can't sleep (too much tea? Too much rest in the day? Too scared? Nah on the last count); been floating about online for the past couple of hours. Hmmm, the module is so ambiguous that I have little inkling what will actually come out. I suppose the Great Conundrum of Eng Kiat is that he fears quantitative topics in exams, yet he bitches about the qualitative ones because he has no idea what will come out.

Maybe because I lack substance? I'm but a veil of well designed hoaxes behind which hides an entity devoided of true worth and value; a facade for something quintessentially nothing but a paradoxial urchin of society? Ah well, too much crap in the readings I've been doing for the past week. It's all coming out in my language.

Back to work.

Somebody help this world

"Bush Calls Arafat Death 'Significant Moment'"

"Bush Administration will continue to pursue aggressive foreign policy"

Someone dies and you call it a 'significant moment'? So when Bush dies the Arabs call it a joyous occassion? To them it probably is. But will they make it an official speech? I doubt so. Not only do we have a baffon for a world leader, we have an insensitive and ignorant ape whose world begins and ends with his belly-button.

Aggressive foreign policy? When will they declare war on Malaysia or Indonesia because they have 'elements of terror' embedded within them? Or maybe because they have a significant Islamic population 'symphatic to the terrorists' causes'? I can't believe that someone like him could be elected to a 2nd term?!

And I can't migrate to another planet. Help.

Damn my freeloading roomie too

Oh, might I add that my roomie has conveniently took my nike flip-flops to wear AGAIN because he's probably too ashamed of his own that looks like a floormat with straps? And just so he could go pick up a girl to bring back to the room. And in the process stank up my flip-flops with his horrendous BO? Did I tell you that I only found out the night before that he has a body-odour so pungent that it'll be classified as a biological weapon of mass destruction should the UN weapons inspectors come down to check? OMG, and now I know why the room always have this stinking socks smell.

And anyways so he conveniently took my slippers and I returned to my room to change into rain-garb, only to realise that my slippers are gone. And he could have just asked.

Damn Andrew too

He took my things without asking AGAIN! This time, he conveniently helped himself to my metal ruler. After using my butter paper. After using my clutch pencil. After using my cutting mat. After colonising my table when he has tons of space on his own. After wasting my time with useless banter. And notice how the materials are THE BARE MINIMUM AN ARCHITECTURE STUDENT NEEDS?? Where are his own? What an ASS!

Is there so little that I can trust my own studiomates with? Are they really so irresponsible? After having nearly $300 worth of materials stolen last sem, do architecture students have so little moral rightousness? Is thievery acceptable beacause you're near to submissions and you lack the necessary materials due to your own personal incompetence in planning resources? FUCK YOU ALL.

What's the point in working in studio when the people around you are a bunch of unappreciative thieves and chronic 'borrowers'? When they keep bombarding you with questions such that you cannot concentrate on your own work because they THEM-SELFISH-SELVES cannot finish on time? Does that give them the right to bother someone equally pressed for time? I don't mind if they say thank you at the end of it all. I don't expect a meal or cup of tea in return. Is 'thank you' so hard to say?

I have nothing against a mutually beneficial relationship with my studiomates. I don't even mind if I don't benefit anything from them. But are they entitled to TAKE ME FOR FUCKING GRANTED because I help myself and so they can leech off my own efforts? What is this world coming to? I really don't want to work amongst these felons. Maybe I'm better off as just a humble artist so I don't have to see the ugly side of humanity? We're spelling our own doom. Save our souls.

Damn Art Friend Staff

I'm so damn fucking pissed!

The damned art friend staff sold me the copic airbrush set, and the fact was that they did not have a complete servicable set in store. And neither did the staff have any idea how to use it. So I bought $100 worth of equipment only to realise that they did not work cuz a part was missing.

It was not as if I did not inform them in the first place that the parts they recommended would not work. And when I asked to take a look at what I'm buying before I pay frigging $100 for them they insisted that they tested them and that it works. Works my ass. What's with me simply seeing if the parts fit together IN FRONT OF THEIR FUCKING EYES??? Do I look like David Blaine who would make the stuff disappear into thin air? Do they seriously think that I would be able to dash fast enough out of the store with the goods in my hands? WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY THINKING??!!

I'm already cheesed off about them forcing Grafitti off the market and into bankrupcy. And to think that Grafitti has sales staff the complete opposite of how they would treat their customers: the staff at Grafitti takes the patience to slowly explain to you how the things work, to offer alternatives, to guide you around and be the ever helpful and KNOWLEGABLE sales staff.

Anyway, I got Thanda to go down and tell the guy that it doesn't work. And that harebrained idiot-of-a-sales staff screwed the can into the nozzle and go, "See! Air comes out. It works!" Fuck you, of course air comes out. At more than 10 times the usuable pressure FYI. That's why I bought the regulator in the first place. Morons. And they go:"And by the way we don't sell the part that screws into the can." So are thay telling me that I wasted $100 on something that doesn't work??! Am I entitled to a refund then? I bet they'll go, "You should have known better."

Dipshit good-for-nothing prissy arrogant greater-than-thou ignorant moronic nincompoops of a psuedo-sales staff. Give me back my parents' hard earned money!
